How to Generate Images & Videos in Claude with the Higgsfield MCP

Today I’ll be showing you how to connect Higgsfield to Claude (or any AI like ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc) so you don’t have to leave the Claude interface to generate images and videos.
Higgsfield MCP X Claude
Claude is the preferred AI for so many people, but one of its shortcomings is that it can’t generate images or videos.
If you have a Higgsfield subscription, you can actually connect it to Claude via MCP, so you can run your entire creative workflow inside Claude.
Here’s how:
Settings → Connectors. Open Claude settings in-app or on browser and go to Connectors.
Add a custom connector, name it Higgsfield and paste the URL: https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp
Click Add → Connect, sign in with your Higgsfield account andtyou’re all set. Now just ask Claude to generate a video. You can specify any model as well.

How does this work under the hood?
Three pieces are doing the work behind the scenes. Claude interprets your intent and turns natural language into structured generation parameters, reading context across the conversation, referencing your past renders, and writing prompts in the specific format each model expects. MCP is the secure bridge that lets Claude call Higgsfield's tools, with your credentials staying on Higgsfield's side and Claude only ever seeing the tool results. Higgsfield itself runs the actual generation, rendering models, synchronizing audio, holding character consistency, and returning the finished output back to your chat with a link to your workspace.
From your side it looks like one prompt, but underneath there is a small choreography of automation that quietly replaces what used to be three or four separate sessions across as many platforms.
